Artisan Roast HQ, Section 13, PJ.

This is the view from the top only because I like being on top! (HAHAHAHAH!) Sorry, only my colleague would get my jokes of the nasty sort.

All of our drinks and tea time stuffs! My colleague and our student got a flat white and my hot chocolate and our little tit bits.

I had a cup of hot chocolate and it is waaay better compared to Starbucks or Coffee Bean and such. It's pure cacao and it wasn't those sweetened hot chocolates but rather the bitter like chocolates which I'm loving, hands down!

We had a slice of Grasshopper, Caramel and Chocolate and it was all sooo chocolatey!!! I love chocolates and I approve of these!

The Lemon Slice is very, or rather, extremely lemony and perfect for my liking! It's like a real lemon on the pastry and this has got to be my favourite.

After rows and rows of workshops and the whole place is a small industrial area, it is so unlikely to find a coffee shop of the hipster variety. I used to work in the vicinity at CSC and I never expected to find a coffee house.

But then again, I was with a "hipster" colleague of mine and I would expect him to sniff hipster like hangouts like these. Despite it being a refurnished shoplot/warehouse, it has a unique touch to it. Very simplistic, a place that just serves good coffee and delicious home made desserts.

We were there with our student to discuss about our classes and what needs to be changed (Constructive Criticism) and get to know each other better. We are cool lecturers like that. HAHAH.

The staff were extremely friendly and I LOVE THE PLACE!!! Please click HERE to stalk them!!

Till the next time!

A Slice Of Heaven, Jaya One

I had the Death By Chocolate and Red Velvet, 2 of the best sellers at A Slice Of Heaven. Read so many positive reviews on the place, I was peer pressured to try!

Death by chocolate was about 9.80MYR (If I'm not mistaken!) for a little blob. Oh, if you like it, it comes in 1KG or more as well! So, I decided to try!

The texture was very mousse like with a thin layer of cake and covered in a delicious, chocolatey layer. Surprisingly, Madrekins loved this as well. I'm just OK with it, Epicurean makes better ones. But of course, this is good in it's own way. I don't really like it because it's too sweet. I love my chocolate bitter so....

This lovely thing is the Red Velvet. It's like the cutest thing. I'm not a huge fan of Red Velvet but since it was one of the best sellers, I decided to try it.

The cake is surprisingly soft and fluffy, I've had a few Red Velvet which was a bit on the hard side and that was one of the reasons why I dislike Red Velvet and I think that its overrated. This one however, proved me wrong and it turned out to be the best Red Velvet I've tasted. Super delicious. Soft and fluffy and if eaten with those little white creamy clouds, its creamy and cheesy! Highly recommended.

You can check their website out A Slice of Heaven by Just Heavenly, You can find the whole range of their cakes and even baking classes!

Jaya One: Chilli Rush, Frontera

Decided to take Madrekins around Jaya One to try the food! The Sister brought me to Frontera for tacos and I've been craving tacos since! Their tacos are seriously addictive. I love the Baja Fish Tacos (Soft)

This was taken a few days before I brought Madrekins there because the whole Game Dev department celebrated Nick (Our Colleague) birthday there. It was a double kill because it was supposed to be my initiation "ceremony" as well. Any new staff in Game Dev has to eat Level 10 wings! LOL! My colleague, Ivan had Level 5 and to prepare for Level 10, we ordered Level 7 to dip our toes in. Yes, it was seriously spicy and I could eat spicy food. But, it was goooood!!!!

The many levels of hot wings. If you want to be immortalised on their wall of honour, go for a Level 12 wings!!!

Madrekins only managed a mere Level 4. Well, i think it's good cause she can't take spicy food!

She SEEMS to be enjoying her food, until she decided to marinate the spicy chicken in salad sauce in hope to reduce the spicyness.

You can find Frontera and Chilli Rush easily!
