Stickhouse
Pictures credit to Stickhouse, I just wanted to show you how beautiful these ice popsicles look! They are the best looking popsicles around!
I had the Strawberry Yogurt while Madrekins had the Lemon flavoured popsicle! Mine was very thick and yogurty while Madrekin's one was so sour, it feels as if you're biting into a ice lemon! We loved it so much!
It was then, I decided to find out more about Stickhouse, the founders have 30 years of experience in the ice cream business and they use a technology to make their popsicles really creamy, full of flavour and a persistency in taste that is accomplished without the use of aromas and artificial flavourings.
Their ice cream is all natural without the artificial flavourings and 100% all natural ingredients. For example, when you lick the lemon stick, it tastes exactly like ice cold lemon juice!
I got my Stickhouse fix at Sunway Pyramid, one floor down from Juiceworks.
For more info, you can check Stickhouse WEBSITE and Stickhouse Malaysia FACEBOOK.
Or better yet, give them a try!

Dancing Fish, Setia City Mall
Before you read this post, you have to excuse me. I forgot all the prices. LOL! If it isn't you that's paying, you won't know the price. Anyways, we were out on our usual Saturday shopping with Madrekins and Yan. Dancing Fish sounds interesting right? So, we decided to try.
Dancing Fish is Kuala Lumpur's TOP 20 RESTAURANTS!!! Oh, and it's HALAL, so my Muslim friends can enjoy the delicious food too!!! The restaurant is jointly owned by a Chinese and an Indonesian and the chef is mostly Malay.
What is a dancing fish? This is a dancing fish! Doesn't it look like it's dancing? We had ours with Mango Kerabu so its, tangy and sweet and little spicy. The fish was fried to a crisp and even the bones are crunchy. I love this dish even though I don't eat much fish. The sauce is really delicious.
This was the chicken Satay and it was moist and flavourful with every bite!!! I would say that this is one of the best satays around. The kuah kacang was equally heavenly as they were very generous with the kacang.
This was the soft shell crab with Mango Kerabu (You can't go wrong with Mango Kerabu!) and it was a disappointment. The crab was just fried and it was tasteless. I guess, you have to eat it with the kerabu but I didn't really like it.
You can check their WEBSITE for more information.Too bad, they don't put the price there.

D'Italiane Kitchen, Sunway Giza
I had a chance encounter with this place because I'm at Giza every Sunday while waiting for The Fiance to finish church. Besides Nando's, we don't really eat at restaurants here. I'll always be at Boost getting my juice and we'll have JoJo Chilli Pan Mee for lunch every Sunday. Well, one of these Sundays, I was craving for a good, old fashioned Lasagna. Chicken Lasagna to be specific.
And since Times Bookstore, another place where I wait for him, is just next to the restaurant, we decided to go there and try.
Previously, all pastas couldn't compare to my favourite pasta at Dave's, 1 Utama. I normally don't eat pasta except at Dave's. Unfortunately, Dave's quality has been slowly and steadily deteriorating, we decided to have the pasta here. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! We had the Salmon Alfredo (RM29.90) and my, it was out of this world!!! The Fiance even said that it was better than Dave's. The pasta was al dente, and the salmon was very fresh. The salmon in your plate comes in 2 varieties; Cooked and smoked so, you get the real air flown salmon on your plate! And yes, they weren't stingy with their sauce unlike Dave's, ever since the 50% lunch promo was changed to 30%...
This was my Chicken Lasagna (RM23.90) and it comes in Beef too. OK, all I can say is that, my cravings were satisfied after this, The lasagna was moist, flavourful in every bite, and the cheese, it whole lasagna was covered with a layer of cheese and cooked to perfection! I would say that, this is the best lasagna I've ever tasted!
I was having really bad PMS, so The Fiance decided to surprise me with this Triple Chocolate Banana with Vanilla Gelato (RM22.90) because my two favourite things are banana and chocolate. I guess, I was a bit mean to him as well. Anyways, I can't comment on this because I love bananas and chocolate and this was orgasmic...
Overall, I give this place a 9/10 because the waiters are all friendly, refillable water is only RM0.90 and the ambience is romantic and food was utterly amazing!

Petite Millie, 1 Utama
We've passed by the restaurant many, many times but this is the first time, we actually thought of trying it. Before I begin, I beg for your forgiveness as I might not remember exactly what I ate and how much. In fact, the total bill for me and my mom was 100+MYR.
This was our Sliced Roast Chicken Tarte Flambee. I love the unique-ness of this dish, the base is crispy thin and the chicken slices were smoked and it makes a light, refreshing dish as a starter.
As a main, we had Salmon on a bed of crabs but I highly doubt it was crabs, honestly didn't taste crabby at all. But I enjoyed my salmon. I might be biased because I just love salmon.
For dessert, we had the warm and cold Dino's Granny Smith Apple Crumble which was heavenly and decadent. It's cinnamon-y and the apples are just tender and sweet. Overall, I think this is the best version of an apple crumble.

Dave's, 1 Utama
I've been coming to Dave's since I was 17 where I discovered that alcohol and friends really do solve all your problems. You can read all about my "endeavors" HERE and HERE. The first link rarely made any sense because I wrote it when I was drunk. I was drunk most of the time from 2005-2010.
Well, you know you're a regular customer when you have the waiter on your Facebook.
The best pasta in the world. Period. I've tried pasta in many places such as Sydney, Thailand, Korea and Vietnam but no pasta can compare to the pasta at Dave's. The Fiance would only eat pasta at Dave's and no where else. Nothing compares to the pasta at Dave's. The Fiance cooks really well and his "Chinaman" mentality of not paying when you can cook it by yourself.
Anyways, I've tried all sorts of pasta here but I still like the creamy ham and mushroom fettucine. For those people who hates paying full price, you can order the pasta at 50% off weekdays 12-3PM.
This year or last, I can't remember but this is an award winning sandwich and my favourite sandwich of all time. It's something so unique and surprising and I crave for it every other day. No wonder it won an award. But it's not on the menu. I normally just tell the waiters that I want the special sandwich. I don't even know the price of the sandwich.
Another firm favourite of ours is the seafood bisque (24MYR). It's got heaps of fish, calamari, mussels clams and prawns! It's so creamy and such a comfort food.

Logenhaus Roast & Grill, USJ.
My previous post on Logenhaus many years ago can be found HERE! I can't believe that we've been patronizing this restaurant since 2009 and now, I've got a fairly decent camera to do the food some justice.
I do have to add that BLOGGER has refused me to upload more pictures because apparently, I'm way over my quota (I manage 3 blogs!) and I've also found a loophole. Instead of paying BLOGGER, I access my blogs through my Google+ and all the pictures that you see here, are all uploaded to Google+.
I love escargot, In fact, I have the occasional cravings for escargot and Logenhaus serves one of the best escargots around. I might want a baby soon and hopefully, I can still be feasting on escargots then. Anyways, the escargot are cooked to a steamy perfection, served with Baguette slices and a form of garlic and herbs sauce.
Truly, mouth watering and delicious!
The best food this place has to offer is their roast chicken. Tender, juicy and bursting with flavour in every bite. I recommend having it with a serving of pan fried potatoes...
Daddykins had the Grilled Salmon with a side of pan fried potatoes. The salmon was very delicious, you can taste the freshness of the fish and the meat was just flaking off. It was heavenly.
We love coming back here time after time for years now because of the simple, delicious and hearty food that they serve. I'm no atmosphere whore but I still like the rustic German interior.
But do come and try the food.

Antipodean Cafe, Telawi Bangsar
The first time I entered this cafe, I was overwhelmed by writing and prices on the wall and I soon found out that all those "writings" on the wall were in fact, the menu. The menu is scribbled all over the walls of the little cosy cafe.
The interior of the cafe is small, cosy, rustic and minimalist. It's like those little, French cafes that are hidden gems with good food and cosy ambiance. I went there during tea so, the crowd hasn't come in yet but I heard that breakfast time, it's really busy!
Restaurants which gives free of less than 1MYR water always receives a plus from me. This who don't and forces people to buy their bottled water *ahem* NANDO'S *ahem* is just too kiam siap and I would boycott them real soon. Antipodean gives you water in this pretty "kicap" bottle. It's like a vintage novelty and I loved it. Another thing is the pretty little cup with freshly cut carnations that makes you feel like having breakfast in bed. I love little things like these. Bonus plus points!
This was our Burmese Shredded Chicken Salad (15MYR) which doesn't taste like your average salads because they use cabbage and shredded chicken with basil leaves and little tomatoes... It's tart and acidic salad dressing is just unique. You have to try it and I loved it!
This was the Thai Chicken Satay with Crushed Peanuts (can't remember the price) was really delicious!!! But I still prefer the normal satay peanut sauce. It would be the bomb! You see, we used to love Hj. Samuri and Restoran Malaysia for satay. But recently, the standard at Hj. Samuri dropped like the plummeting stock market and we were on the search for the next satay place. The chicken satay here is moist, juicy and flavourful on its own but I'm a typical Malaysia when it comes to malaysian food (a purist la!) and it would taste totally wonderful if it comes with the normal kuah kacang... mmm... *YUMMY*
You can try Antipodean out at:
